Greeting Card - HMCS Sackville
Greeting Card - HMCS Sackville
Send a taste of nautical art to the sea-faring and sea-loving folks in your life. The HMCS Sackville served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII and is known as a Flower-class corvette — she and her sister ships helped escort thousands of ships safely across the Atlantic Ocean during the Battle of the Atlantic. She is the last surviving Flower-class corvette and is now a seasonal fixture on the Halifax Waterfront as part of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Should you go for a stroll along the waterfront, be sure to stop and explore this important piece of history. This greeting card strives to capture the essence of this historical ship, but nothing can truly capture its beauty, grandeur and significance.
